Bournemouth has a cosmopolitan population and is home to Bournemouth University, the UK's number 1 new university according to the Guardian University Guide 2009 & 2010. Our newest school benefits from a stunning and unique location, overlooking the town's main square and just a 5 minute walk from the beach! Spread over an entire floor of a land-mark Art Deco building, the school features 12 spacious classrooms, a study centre, juice bar, internet zone and free student showers and lockers.
British Study Centres Bournemouth is fitted with 8 modern flat-screen computers and offers free high-speed internet connection. Laptop users can also enjoy free Wi-Fi connection throughout the building.

British Study Centres Bournemouth has its own Juice Bar which is the perfect place for lunch or for meeting your friends during break or after class. Breakfast, lunch and snacks are on offer at very accessible prices. Students say we have the best coffee in town!

British Study Centres Bournemouth Accommodation
All the accommodation provided is within reasonable and safe walking distance from a bus stop directly connected to the school. Students should arrive on Saturday or Sunday before course start date and leave on Saturday or Sunday following course finish date. Overnight guests are not permitted in student houses. Student houses and residences are only available for students who are over 18 years old. All the accommodation is regularly inspected by our Accommodation Officers.

All of our hosts have been visited and interviewed in their home and they must meet British Council standards. They have been selected because of the comfort of the home and the warm welcome they will be able to give you.Most homestays are a bus ride away. We sell bus passes in the school office, or you can buy them at the post office.
The university-style summer residence, Dorchester House, is available for July and August. Ideally located in the centre of Bournemouth and a short walk away from the school and the beach, Dorchester House residence provides our students with en-suite single study bedroom self-catering accommodation in a secure and clean environment. The residence offers modern and well equipped communal kitchens, on-site laundry facilities and wireless internet access.The residence is only available to students who are over 18 years old.
Student Houses are a fantastic accommodation choice for students who wish to be more independent. Students share kitchen and bathroom facilities within each flat. This newly built apartment block is reserved exclusively for British Study Centres students and has 10 flats, sleeping up to 24 students in total.
Trouville Lodge is a well established hotel located in the heart of Bournemouth just a few minutes stroll from the Bournemouth town centre, gardens, award winning beaches and the Bournemouth International Centre (BIC).
Please note: The hotel is only available to students who are over 18 years old.

British Study Centres Bournemouth runs an exciting weekly social programme. A typical month may include an evening BBQ and games on the beach, cycling, a boat cruise around Poole Harbour and weekend trips to Winchester, Stonehenge, Oxford and London.
A small charge (£3-£15) is made for some activities, others are free of charge. Prices for full-day and weekend trips around the UK & Europe range from £30-£250.
