Kings Colleges Tonbridge Junior Residential Summer Camp

Our Tonbridge Summer Camp is based at Tonbridge School, founded in 1553 and today one of the leading public schools in the UK. The Camp occupies a beautiful classically English setting, yet is close to London and the main airports. Facilities are first class with sports provision being especially strong - the Australian athletics team used Tonbridge as their base during the London 2012 Olympics.

 On-site residence

There is excellent quality residential accommodation with separate facilities for boys and girls. Accommodation is in mainly single rooms (some twin, triple and dorms for 6 students) with shared bathroom, common room and kitchen facilities. Supervision from an on-site warden.

Meal plan

Full-board. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and evening snack provided every day at camp. Lunch and dinner are usually hot (with packed lunches on excursion days) and there is usually a choice of at least two main courses. We can cater for vegetarian and other dietary requirements on request.

On-campus, residential accommodation. Single, twin and dormitory rooms for 6-8 (varies by location). Separate housing for boys and girls.

Meal plan

Full-board with breakfast, hot lunch and dinner daily, eaten on campus. Evening snack before bed. Packed lunch on excursion days.

Specialist activity:

2 – 3 sessions (minimum 4 hours) per week.

Digital photography

Your child will learn about some of the main aspects of digital photography including digital effects and image manipulation, the use of different lenses, plus advice on photographing different subjects including people, places and still life.
